North Bay & District Multicultural Centre supports the full, equal, and valued participation of newcomers in all aspects of community life. It is a non-profit organization serving the settlement needs of newcomers to Canada in the districts of Parry Sound, Nipissing, Temiskaming, and Cochrane.

 

Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs) are community-wide, multi-sectoral partnerships working to strengthen a community’s capacity to welcome newcomers and improve integration outcomes through enhanced economic, social, political and civic participation. There are 77 LIP initiatives across Canada, they are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
