Why Did We Create This Site?

 

To tell you a little about ourselves, we are four, third-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students at Nipissing University. We have been a part of the OEYC team for a total of twelve weeks, assisting and observing needs in the organization. We observed a need for education regarding common childhood illnesses in the children attending. Our goal through this website is to increase the knowledge of illnesses in children and how to access assistance and treatments for them.  We also understand the difficulty of finding activities to do at home with children when they are forced to spend a day at home. Because of this we have made many activities and ideas available to you on this website to occupy your little ones when stuck at home.
