The Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) have multiple services to enhance your comfort when staying and or moving to the city of North Bay. Their services range from personal development programs, such as yoga and mindfulness, to child and youth programs as well as an exciting teen centre. If you anticipate needing child care, come see our Parent Support Coordinator to discuss which option for child care might work best for you.

 

The MFRC have specifically tailored and structured programs for children ranging 5-18 years old. One program for children age 5-8 is called Fun Factory, and it is designed to support children in their communication and social development and allows kids to just have fun! Activities and events include games, arts and crafts, baking and cooking skills, sports and recreation and more. Another program, called the youth program for children age 9-12, and as well they have a program structured for teens called teen centre.
